Employment In addition to my private practice, I wear a number of other professional hats. In 2000, I was asked by the Foster Parents Association of Spokane to be a Project Director for a grant application to Health and Human Services, to create a support services program for foster parents in Spokane County. Many of my dedicated colleagues and I were able to successfully design a $1.773 million dollar Federal Health and Human Services grant, initiating the support program for our local foster parents... MoreProfessional History When I was fourteen years old, in 1970, I was a "Blue Coat" at Sacred Heart Hospital, visiting patients in the Isolation Ward, and attending to children in the Pediatrics Ward. Later that same year, I volunteered at St. Joseph's Children's home, mentoring the children and teens. Licensure I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Mental Health Professional in the State of Washington. I am also licensed in Idaho as a Licensed Certified Social Worker. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Applied Psychology in 1979 from Eastern Washington University. I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from the same university in 1985.
